Tientsin Mystic(2017)

Tientsin Mystic is a Chinese historical mystery series set in 1900s Tianjin. When a shipping magnate is found drowned and chained underwater, police dive captain Guo Deyou becomes the prime suspect. The victim's son, Ding Mao, launches his own investigation, but a string of bizarre drownings forces him to form an unlikely alliance with Guo, a spirit medium, and a journalist. As the body count rises, the trio uncovers evidence of a deadly cult that vanished decades earlier and has now returned to the city.
