Anime-Gataris(2017)
Anime-Gataris is a comedy series about Minoa Asagaya, a high schooler haunted by a forgotten anime from her childhood. Unable to identify the show despite asking classmates, she catches the attention of Arisu Kamiigusa, the school's wealthy and popular otaku. When even Arisu's encyclopedic anime knowledge fails to solve the mystery, the two decide to start an Anime Research Club at Sakaneko High School. What begins as a quest to identify one obscure series becomes Minoa's chaotic introduction to the passionate, eccentric world of anime fandom. As the club recruits fellow enthusiasts, Minoa discovers just how deep the rabbit hole goes—and how much she has yet to learn about the medium that captivated her years ago.
