Märchen Mädchen is an anime series about two girls whose meeting unlocks a hidden magical world. Hazuki Kagimura is an imaginative dreamer who escapes into stories to cope with her strained relationship with her new family. When she gets lost in her school library, she discovers a secret academy where girls called "mädchen" are chosen by the world's greatest fairy tales to become magicians. Hazuki learns she's been selected by Cinderella itself. Alongside her new friend Shizuka Tsuchimikado, Hazuki embarks on her magical education, learning to harness the power of classic stories.
