A Pillow Case of Mystery II is a supernatural drama series following Sze Sai-lun, a disillusioned former politician who abandons public life to travel and seek adventure. When he encounters spirit medium Ng Kwan-yau, the two become entangled in a mysterious murder investigation. With help from Ngau Tai-lik, a mischievous pillow spirit, Sai-lun solves the case and restores his sense of purpose. As Sai-lun and Kwan-yau grow closer and fall in love, cracks emerge in their relationship when Sai-lun discovers she harbors dangerous secrets. Complications deepen when his mother arranges a marriage to Luk Siu-tip, a woman with hidden motives.
