Emergency Unit(2009)

Emergency Unit is a Hong Kong crime series following Kong Sai-Hao, a man released after ten years in a Taiwan prison. Determined to reunite with his estranged daughter and exact revenge on triad boss To Yik-Tin—the man responsible for his imprisonment—Sai-Hao infiltrates the underworld while simultaneously gaining the trust of police officers Chung Lap-Man and Lee Pak-Kiu. Lap-Man goes undercover within Sai-Hao's gang to monitor his activities, but the line between cop and criminal blurs as the two form an unexpected bond. When Lap-Man is dismissed from the force before completing his mission, his loyalties shift entirely. Together they challenge Yik-Tin's control, but Lap-Man's fall from grace threatens to unravel everything. The series explores betrayal, redemption, and the cost of vengeance in Hong Kong's criminal underworld.
