Amor Gitano(1999)

Amor Gitano is a period drama set in a feudal past where a ruthless lord named Rodolfo Farnesio abuses his power to prey on innocent women. When the noble gypsy Renzo intervenes to protect a peasant bride and later the Countess Adriana, Rodolfo frames him for a crime and has him deported to a brutal prison island. Adriana follows Renzo in disguise as "Luna," but Rodolfo's interference separates them once more, leaving Adriana amnesiac and forced into marriage with her tormentor. Years later, Renzo returns under an assumed identity to rescue Adriana from both Rodolfo and the scheming former barmaid Isa Valenti, who has leveraged blackmail to become Adriana's sister-in-law. The series weaves themes of injustice, forbidden love, and redemption across its narrative of class conflict and personal vengeance.
