Binta!(2014)

Binta! is a Japanese drama following Minowa, a man who fled his hometown a decade ago after his mother's death, unable to cope with his father's reckless behavior. When news arrives that his father has passed away, the now-jobless 30-year-old returns to confront his past. Adrift without steady work or direction, Minowa must navigate the weight of family history and unresolved grief in the place he abandoned. The series explores themes of estrangement, redemption, and the complicated bonds that tie us to home, as he grapples with whether returning means healing or simply reopening old wounds.
