Une autre histoire is a French drama series about a woman confronting her past as her present unravels. At 53, Anémone learns she has early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Nearly three decades earlier, she abandoned a violent life and three young children, reinventing herself as Manon under a new identity in Paris. She built a stable career as a thanatopractor and raised a second family with her current husband. But her diagnosis forces a reckoning: before memory fails her completely, Anémone must find her first three children and reveal the truth about her disappearance. The series explores whether she has the courage to reconnect with Caroline, Sébastien, and Jean-Olivier, and how they'll react learning their mother is alive. Complicating matters is Vincent, the mysterious new director at her funeral home, whose intentions remain unclear. As Anémone navigates her diagnosis and fragmented identity, she discovers that everyone carries secrets—and some stories demand to be told before they're forgotten forever.
