Hosted by SNL alumnus Jimmy Fallon, the hour-long program originates from Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. The Roots, a hip-hop and neo-soul band, serve as the house band, with Steve Higgins as announcer. Each episode opens with Fallon's monologue followed by comedy desk pieces, prerecorded segments, and audience games. The show's centerpiece is a celebrity interview spanning actors, musicians, and political figures, closing with either a musical or comedy performance.
