Son of Heaven(2016)

Son of Heaven is a historical drama set during the declining Yuan Dynasty, where prophecies foretell the rise of a chosen one destined to overthrow imperial rule. Han Linger and You Liang are believed to be this prophesied savior, but the true chosen one is actually born to the emperor himself. When the court learns of the rumors, it moves to suppress the real heir. Raised in poverty, the emperor's son experiences strange visions and mystical signs from childhood. Fleeing Yuan soldiers intent on his capture, he finds refuge in a monastery. There he reconnects with Ma Xiuying, a childhood companion, though their reunion is thwarted by her family. He eventually joins forces with military leader Chang Yuchun and strategist Liu Bowen, embarking on a mission to save the world and fulfill his destined role.
