The Bridge(2018)

The Bridge is a Nordic noir series that begins when a body is discovered on the Sõpruse bridge connecting Russia and Estonia, positioned exactly on the borderline between the two nations. Russian investigator Maxim Kazantsev and Estonian inspector Inga Veermaa are forced into an uneasy partnership to solve the case. As they dig deeper, they uncover a series of meticulously planned murders, each one a calculated message about social injustice. The investigation pulls them across borders and into a web of corruption, personal demons, and moral ambiguity. Kazantsev and Veermaa must navigate not only the complexities of their respective legal systems but also their own conflicting methods and backgrounds. The crimes grow darker and more personal, testing their resolve and forcing them to confront uncomfortable truths about their societies.
