Blind Date is a Spanish comedy series following Lucía, a vlogger whose self-worth hinges on online validation and her mother Maura's constant scrutiny. When Lucía's sister gets engaged, her mother makes a cruel wager: Lucía will show up to the wedding alone, overweight, and dressed in black. Desperate to prove her wrong, Lucía accepts a challenge to lose weight, reinvent herself, and find a boyfriend within 258 days. The bet explodes across social media, and Lucía documents her blind date disasters in real time for her followers. What begins as a mother's harsh judgment becomes a viral phenomenon, forcing Lucía to navigate the messy gap between the person she wants to be and the person the internet expects her to become.
