Number24 is a rugby anime following Natsusa Yuzuki, a university student forced to leave the sport due to unforeseen circumstances. Alongside senior Ibuki Ueoka—another former player—Natsusa navigates a complicated team dynamic. His junior Yasunari Tsuru resents him, while fellow junior Yuu Mashiro idolizes him. Childhood best friend Seiichirou Shingyouji completes the core group. As former teammates, they unite to compete in Kansai's university rugby league, confronting both personal demons and fierce rivals on the field. The series explores redemption, camaraderie, and the drive to reclaim what was lost through the intensity of competitive rugby.
