Baal's Companions(1968)

Journalist Claude Leroy uncovers a sinister secret society, The Companions of Baal, orchestrating a daring robbery in the small French town of Blaingirey. Led by the charismatic and diabolical Grand Maître Hubert de Mauvouloir, a devoted follower of Lucifer, the group harbors ambitions to enslave the world. Determined to expose their criminal network, Leroy teams up with Pierrot Robichat, a former acolyte of the society, and Françoise Cordier, a young woman with her own reasons for seeking the truth. Together they navigate a treacherous web of occult rituals, hidden agendas, and dangerous secrets as they race to dismantle the organization before its sinister plans come to fruition.
