The Lions Rule is a wildlife series following three lion prides in Tanzania's Ruaha National Park, each shaped by the landscape they inhabit. The Glade pride controls a permanent water source and has mastered the rare skill of hunting adult giraffes. Beyond them, the Baobab pride—the largest in the region—rules the ancient forest. The nomadic Njaa pride hunts the buffalo herds with lethal precision. All three prides are led by lionesses alone, with no resident males to protect their territory or offspring. This absence of male leadership becomes crucial as the prides navigate survival, rivalry, and the unpredictable challenges of the African savanna. The series captures the complex dynamics of power, family, and adaptation in one of Africa's most unforgiving ecosystems.
