Kimi Omou Koi(2018)

Kimi Omou Koi is a romantic comedy series following Aoi, who runs a dojo inherited from her father and struggles with her shyness around boys. Her one exception is Shin'ichirou, her childhood friend and fellow dojo student. When Aoi asks him to help her overcome her discomfort with the opposite sex, Shin'ichirou realizes his feelings have deepened beyond friendship. As he grows restless with their platonic dynamic, the pair must navigate the delicate shift from childhood companions to something more. Set against the backdrop of their shared dojo, the series explores how familiarity can mask deeper emotions and how the push to change can reveal what was always there.
