Digimon Adventure: is an anime series set in 2020, where the Digital World exists hidden behind the internet that humans depend on daily. Fifth grader Taichi Yagami's mother and sister board a runaway train in Shibuya, prompting him to rush to their rescue. As Taichi races toward the station platform, a strange phenomenon strikes him and other chosen children—the DigiDestined—and he's transported into the Digital World. There, he discovers a realm of light and darkness inhabited by mysterious creatures called Digimon. Separated from the real world, Taichi must navigate this dangerous digital landscape and partner with a Digimon to find his way home and protect his family. The series blends adventure, mystery, and action as the young protagonist uncovers the connection between the two worlds.
