Air is a supernatural drama series following Yukito Kunisaki, a traveling puppeteer searching for the legendary Winged Maiden—a figure bound to the sky centuries ago, inspired by a childhood tale his mother once told him. As Yukito moves from town to town performing puppet shows for spare money, he arrives at a quiet village where he expects only a brief stay.
