BEM is an anime series set in Libra City, a sprawling metropolis divided sharply between wealthy and impoverished districts. Three humanoid monsters—Bem, Bela, and Belo—live hidden among the human population, driven by a dual mission: protecting humanity while secretly yearning to become human themselves. When a mysterious woman emerges and threatens their existence, the trio finds themselves entangled in a conspiracy far more complex than anything they've encountered before. The series blends action with existential questions about identity and belonging, following these unlikely protectors as they navigate danger and moral ambiguity in their quest for transformation.
