Embezzlement is an Israeli drama series that follows Eti Alon, a bank employee at Bank LeMischar who commits a massive financial crime. Desperate to help her gambling-addicted brother Ofer, Eti steals a quarter of a billion shekels from customer accounts. What begins as a single act of desperation spirals into a complex web of deception as Eti struggles to cover her tracks while her brother's addiction deepens. The series explores the moral collapse of an ordinary person pushed to extraordinary lengths by family loyalty and financial pressure. As the theft threatens to unravel, Eti must navigate the dangerous consequences of her actions and the impossible choice between protecting her brother and saving herself.
