Freak Show(2006)

Freak Show is an animated comedy series created by H. Jon Benjamin and David Cross for Comedy Central. The show follows the Freak Squad, a group of circus misfits who reluctantly work as second-rate superheroes for the US government. Balancing their day jobs at the freak show with their secret government gigs, the team stumbles through absurd missions with characteristic incompetence. The series ran for seven episodes between October and November 2006, blending dark humor with satirical takes on both superhero tropes and carnival culture. Benjamin and Cross served as executive producers and voiced multiple characters throughout the show's brief run. Despite its cult following, Freak Show never returned for a second season, though it was later released on DVD in 2012.
