Gerak Khas(1999)

Gerak Khas is a long-running Malaysian police drama that premiered on May 4, 1999 on TV2. The series follows inspectors Aleeza and Mazlan as they tackle serious crimes across Malaysia. Director Datuk Yusof Haslam helmed both the television episodes and three theatrical films under his production company Skop Productions. The first film, released in early 2001, became a box office hit in Malaysia, pitting the lead detectives against dangerous crime bosses Castelo and Rafayel. The franchise expanded with Gerak Khas the Movie II and GK3 The Movie, cementing the series as a cornerstone of Malaysian crime television and cinema.
