Imaginary Cat follows Hyun Jong-hyun, a webtoon writer working part-time at a bookstore who struggles to break through in his field. His stubborn, self-centered nature sabotages his creative ambitions, leaving him isolated and frustrated. His only real connection is with Boggil, a cat he rescued from the street on a rainy day. As the two navigate life together, Boggil becomes Hyun Jong-hyun's emotional anchor—the only being he truly opens up to. This series explores themes of loneliness, redemption, and the unexpected bonds that sustain us when human relationships fail.
