Jerk(2019)

Jerk is a comedy series starring stand-up comedian Tim Renkow as a heightened version of himself: an American art school dropout scrambling to secure a UK visa. The catch is that Tim has cerebral palsy, and strangers constantly misjudge him based on his disability. What they don't expect is that beneath the severely disabled exterior lies someone who's genuinely difficult to like. The show mines dark comedy from the gap between how people perceive Tim and who he actually is, exploring prejudice, vulnerability, and the messy reality of living with a disability in a world quick to make assumptions.
