Moonshine is a Korean historical drama set during Joseon's strictest alcohol prohibition era. A private prosecutor arrives in Seoul determined to support his family, while a desperate couple begins brewing illegal liquor to escape debt. Their dangerous enterprise intersects with a rebellious prince who sneaks out to drink, and the three become entangled in a web of secrets and survival. As their fates collide at a hidden distillery, each holds the power to destroy the others. The series explores ambition, desperation, and forbidden desire against a backdrop of rigid law and social hierarchy.
