Phantom: The Animation(2004)

Phantom: The Animation is a dark thriller series following Zwei, a young man who relocates to a new city seeking a fresh start. His first encounter with Ein, a beautiful woman he spots from afar, takes a sinister turn when he realizes she's an elite assassin eliminating targets for a shadowy organization. His unusual perceptiveness doesn't go unnoticed, and Zwei is presented with an impossible ultimatum: undergo training to become an assassin himself, or become Ein's next victim. As Zwei is drawn into the underworld of contract killing, he must navigate a dangerous world where survival depends on mastering lethal skills. The series explores themes of fate, identity, and moral compromise as Zwei transforms from an ordinary person into something far darker.
