Silver Spoons is a sitcom about Edward Stratton III, a wealthy businessman who discovers he has a 12-year-old son from a brief marriage years earlier. When Ricky arrives at his Manhattan penthouse wanting to know his father, Edward initially considers shipping him off to boarding school. He changes his mind and agrees to let the boy move in, alongside Kate, his devoted secretary.
