Touching Evil(2004)

Touching Evil is a crime drama following Detective David Creegan as he returns to active duty after surviving a near-fatal gunshot wound to the head. Assigned to the FBI's Organized and Serial Crime Unit, an elite rapid-response squad, Creegan partners with Detective Susan Branca to pursue the most dangerous criminals on the streets. Haunted by his injury and prone to reckless decisions that skirt the law, Creegan relies on Branca's steadiness as they work to solve brutal cases and save lives.
