Wiseguy follows Vinnie Terranova, a man who serves time in a New Jersey prison to establish his cover as an undercover agent for the federal Organized Crime Bureau. Drawn from his Italian neighborhood roots, Vinnie infiltrates the mob as a brutal enforcer while navigating the tension between his dangerous double life and his traditional family—especially his disapproving mother. The series explores the psychological toll of living undercover, the moral compromises required to maintain his criminal persona, and the personal relationships that threaten to expose him. Vinnie's loyalty is constantly tested as he moves deeper into syndicate operations, caught between his duty to the law and the bonds of blood and neighborhood loyalty that defined his past.
