Copper(1976)

Copper is a Danish crime thriller following Detective Karl Jørgensen after his release from a sanatorium. Reassigned to the fraud department, Karl uncovers a case entangling his ex-wife and her new husband. When his superiors block his investigation, he partners with journalist John Bullnes to pursue the truth. Their progress stalls after a suspect's suicide, and Karl faces suspension while Bullnes is sent to Berlin. Undeterred, Karl continues alone, ultimately arresting the city's mayor and a major contractor. The film explores corruption, obsession, and the cost of seeking justice outside the system.
