Fragrance(2013)

Fragrance is a contemplative film about grief and memory. Maria sits vigil over her deceased husband's body, and as she does, the scents around her trigger a cascade of recollections—moments from their unconventional yet deeply loving relationship. Through these olfactory-sparked memories, she finds solace and a path toward acceptance of her loss. The film explores how sensory experience can anchor us to those we've loved, and how remembrance becomes a form of healing in the face of death.
