Iced Earth: Alive in Athens is a live album and DVD by American heavy metal band Iced Earth, recorded over two nights in January 1999 at the Rodon Club in Athens, Greece. The band performed in front of sold-out crowds of roughly 2,000 people each night while supporting their album Something Wicked This Way Comes. Released as a single DVD in October 2006, the performance marks the return of drummer Brent Smedley, who sat out the band's previous studio recording. The set captures Iced Earth at a pivotal moment in their touring cycle, delivering the heavy, anthemic sound that defined their late-90s era to an enthusiastic Greek audience.
