Rita is a drama about a woman navigating the fractures in her marriage. When her husband Ariel works abroad, Rita finds herself isolated and seeks comfort—and sexual fulfillment—with someone else. Ariel, too, pursues his own affairs while away. Upon his return, they slip back into domestic routine, pretending their infidelities never occurred. The film explores whether this willful silence can hold their relationship together, or if the cracks have already become irreparable. It's a candid examination of desire, loneliness, and the lies couples tell themselves to survive.
