The Politicians(1915)

The Politicians is a silent comedy following Detective Ruby Swift as she infiltrates a corrupt scheme in the small town of Hicktown. Two dishonest politicians, McQuire and Olson, are rigging the mayoral election to exploit the community. Swift goes undercover as their secretary, deliberately charming both men to spark jealousy and expose their hidden ballot boxes. As the rivals quarrel over her affections, even the town's suffragette police chief cannot restore peace. Swift's cunning manipulation of their rivalry becomes the key to unmasking their fraud and bringing the crooked politicians to justice.
