Egg is a comedy-drama about a young trans woman who walks into a job interview and becomes convinced the elderly man conducting it is a closeted trans woman himself. Convinced she's the only one who can help him come out, she sets out to prove her theory—and in doing so, forms an unlikely bond. The film explores identity, assumption, and connection across generations with warmth and humor, examining what we think we know about others and ourselves.
