Canary is a fantastical comedy set in Paris on New Year's Eve 1999. When a group of young demons arrive in the human world for their final graduation task from Hell's School, one named Vim is assigned to torment Adjani, a woman he encounters on the street. The problem: Adjani already radiates such profound unhappiness that making her miserable proves nearly impossible. As Vim struggles with his assignment, an unexpected connection forms between demon and human.
