Unfiltered is a documentary portrait of Renee McGregor, a sports dietitian and eating disorder specialist who advises elite athletes and Olympians. As an ultra runner and trustee of Black Trail Runners, she's committed to making outdoor spaces more inclusive. Yet beneath her professional achievements lies a harder truth. Growing up in West London, Renee endured trauma that fractured her relationship with food and self-worth, leading to years of disordered eating. She eventually built a career helping others recover from similar struggles. Through running and the community she's fostered, Renee confronts her past and reclaims a sense of belonging in the mountains. The film explores recovery, identity, and how she found refuge in spaces where she once felt invisible.
