Hawkwind - Space Ritual is a 1973 live double album capturing the UK rock band's performances in Liverpool and London during 1972. Recorded while touring to promote their Doremi Fasol Latido album, the set draws heavily from that record while introducing new tracks including "Born To Go," "Upside Down," and "Orgone Accumulator." Electronic and spoken interludes weave throughout, creating a continuous performance experience. The album reached number nine on the UK charts and briefly charted on the Billboard 200 at number 179. This release features a remastered 5.1 surround sound mix, originally included as a DVD bonus with the collectors' edition CD reissue.
