Maya and the Starboy(1988)

Maya and the Starboy is an animated film about a class of alien students who arrive on Earth for an educational field trip. Equipped with invisible "snurke" badges that hide them from human sight, the star-boys are meant to observe Earth life without interference. But Gubang, one of the visitors, breaks protocol when he meets a girl named Maya. Unable to resist connecting with her, he gives her a snurke so she can see him.
