Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five follows two lifelong friends as they journey to Coney Island to track down a third companion who vanished years ago. Rumor has it he's been spotted there, disoriented and adrift. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a surreal odyssey through the amusement park's strange underbelly, where each man confronts ghosts from his own past: a sister's death, a broken romance, mounting debt, and the grip of alcoholism. The film blends dark comedy with genuine melancholy as these childhood bonds are tested against the weight of accumulated loss and the search for redemption in an unlikely place.
