Aeg on siin(2010)

Aeg on siin is an Estonian documentary following four seven-year-old children—Joonas, Karit, Doris, and Fred—as they begin their first year of school. Living in different parts of Estonia and attending separate schools with different teachers, each child brings their own personality and circumstances to the classroom. The film observes how time moves uniformly for all of them, yet shapes their individual experiences in distinct ways. As the school year unfolds, the documentary captures the universal milestones of early education while revealing how geography, family, and temperament influence each child's journey. By year's end, the film asks what has changed in their lives and how their paths have diverged or converged.
