Zamba is a 1949 adventure film about a mother and son separated over the Belgian Congo when their plane crashes. Jenny survives and joins a safari search party, but young Tommy is lost in the jungle with amnesia. A massive gorilla named Zamba finds the boy and raises him as her own, creating an unlikely family bond. When Jenny returns with rescuers, Zamba fiercely protects Tommy, unwilling to surrender her adopted son.
