Quo Vadis(2014)

Quo Vadis is a documentary that traces the evolution of the Christian church across continents—from its philosophical roots in Greece through its institutional form in Rome, its cultural integration in Europe, its commercialization in America, and its rise as a massive corporate entity in South Korea. The film questions what the church has become, noting that five of the world's largest congregations now stand in Korea despite widespread spiritual absence. Through sharp inquiry, Quo Vadis asks fundamental questions: What is the church today? Who is Jesus Christ in this context? What world do modern Christians actually seek to build? The documentary challenges both Korean religious institutions and society at large to confront their direction and purpose, examining whether the church still functions as the body of Christ or has lost its spiritual moorings entirely.
