Jack and Jill is a comedy about two electronics company employees who hatch an elaborate scheme to profit from a commercial-blocking TV invention. When Marvin finally asks Josie out, she learns he's created a device that eliminates ads from broadcasts. Seeing dollar signs, Josie proposes they work together—but first, Marvin must leave the company. Her plan: stage a fake sexual harassment complaint, then have him "reinvent" the technology in secret at a remote lake cabin. The scheme requires lying to their employer, his parents, and her friends. What follows is a tangled web of deception as reality begins to unravel their carefully constructed con. The film explores how good intentions and quick profits can spiral into complications neither anticipated, testing their relationship and their conscience along the way.
