Eksik is a Turkish drama that reunites a fractured family three decades after the 1980 coup. Siblings Deniz and Devrim, separated in childhood and raised apart, meet their mother Melek for the first time as adults. Each carries years of buried resentment and longing. As the three confront their shared history, they must navigate the emotional wreckage of forced separation and political upheaval. The film explores whether a family torn by circumstance can heal, examining the cost of survival and the possibility of reconciliation.
