Koronang Itim(1994)

Koronang Itim is a Filipino drama about obsession and the cost of ambition. Adana De Guia, a fading actress, takes on a devoted fan named Eva Cristobal as her personal assistant and offers her a film role, believing she's helping a loyal admirer. Eva, however, harbors darker motives—she's manipulating Adana to launch her own acting career. When Eva's scheme succeeds and she becomes a star, she discovers that fame alone cannot fill the void inside her. The film explores the toxic dynamics between idol and fan, the hollowness of climbing the entertainment ladder through deception, and whether ambition achieved through betrayal can ever bring genuine fulfillment.
