Wildness is a documentary about two of Australia's greatest wilderness photographers, Olegas Truchanas and Peter Dombrovskis, whose stunning images became central to campaigns protecting Tasmania's natural heritage. Both migrants from Baltic Europe, they shared a father-and-son bond and a singular mission: to reveal the beauty of Australia's wild places so people would fight to preserve them. Their philosophy was elegantly simple yet remarkably effective. Each man died in the wilderness pursuing his passion, leaving behind an extraordinary visual legacy that continues to inspire conservation efforts.
