Dhag(2014)

Dhag is a drama about a young man caught between his mother's ambitions and his family's painful legacy. Krishna's father worked as a cremator, a profession his mother desperately wanted him to escape. When his father dies unexpectedly, opportunity seems within reach—but his widowed mother's struggles pull him back toward the very life she fought to spare him from. The film explores the tension between personal aspiration and familial obligation, examining how poverty and tradition can bind us to our origins despite our best efforts to break free.
