Gridiron UK is a 1985-set drama based on true events, following Derek, a perpetual underachiever determined to prove himself. Desperate to succeed at something, anything, he launches an American football team in a nation obsessed with soccer, rugby, and cricket. His ambition becomes all-consuming as he pursues victory at any cost, blind to the personal relationships crumbling in his wake.
