Angela and Angela(1988)

Angela is an Italian drama following a thirty-year-old woman who leaves her life in Milan to return to her native Calabria, where her father still lives. During the drive south, she encounters a younger girl who shares her name—Angela—and the two couldn't be more different. What begins as a chance meeting becomes an unexpected journey as these two women from different worlds navigate their contrasting lives and perspectives. The film explores themes of identity, family, and connection against the backdrop of southern Italy's landscape.
